New Year

So it's the new year. 2011. I leave in 10 days and I'm getting pretty nervous. It's a long list of stuff to remember for four months and the letter we received telling us to bring half of what we think we need didn't help too much. But! I'm excited for the challenge and for the experience this year will bring. What else could a girl hope for than sun and the sea!

The Beginning

So this is the beginning,

I am starting a blog to keep in touch with my family and friends while I study abroad in Dakar, Senegal. I hope to keep everyone updated on my travels and the life I'm living abroad. The countdown starts now: 25 days until departure.
